My name is Tom Sanders and I am a producer of 2D Animation specialising in creating original and exciting character based work. My output to date includes TV titles, internet advertisements and promotional videos. All projects are created using a variety of mediums including Flash, After Effects and traditional hand-drawn animation.
As well as creating self styled projects I have also worked alongside many creative directors across a variety of different styles and approaches. I can quickly adapt to new styles and changing briefs efficiently and creatively. I thrive on new designs and ways of working and pride myself on delivering projects on time and to a high standard, mirroring that of my own work.
I am comfortable in pitching to clients and creating a product that matches a brief and reflects overall identity. In my work I try to push the creative boundaries and come up with something original and interesting that a client or company can be proud of. I know that by the end if I am pleased and happy with the result then the same can be said for the recipient.
I currently run and operate my own business Tom Sanders Animation. I mainly freelance for animation and creative studios and produce independent commercials using my own designs.
Designing, animating and directing a series of films for a wealth of companies including Channel 4, McDonalds and Doritos. Animated in Flash and After Effects

The project involved me turning a script into reality, designing, animating and compositing in Flash and After Effects.
The challenge was to keep a close eye on brand guidelines and be sensitive with the charity's image and cause.
Using a mixed medium approach I directed and animated 8 winners films for the community based Dragon Awards 2012. Overseeing the animation and par-taking myself we used a vast array of techniques, including live action, stop motion, hand drawn and after effects animation. The project was a great success and helped to change the awards image.
Designed, animated and edited titles for sitcom Rules of Life directed by Luke Butler. Created using traditional animation techniques and coloured in Photoshop. All assets and effects were composited in After Effects.

I designed, animated and composited this piece based on my own style using After Effects and Illustrator. Using strong and original characters to bring the piece to life and give personality to the existing brand. The characters will also be used in further website promotions and IHUK advertising material.

I worked as an assistant animator on a corporate for Lloyds TSB. My work involved animating in Flash and using Dragon to shoot some scenes in stop-frame. I also produced a lot of props ready for shooting.

This short educational film was produced in Toon Boom Studio 4 and I produced
